This residency was extremely motivating and reassuring. My critiques were very helpful in forcing me to better understand my own work and why I make it. To further my work I will be considering the following: 

Studio Focus

·      Explore Textures & use of High Gloss Latex paint

·      Consider other industrial paints such as theatre paints

·      Test pours on sculptures I make and on the plastic liner

·      Work bigger

·      Explore options of site specificity

·      Try solid fields of color beneath pours

·      Pour on plexiglass and layer

·      Think sculpturally

·      Consider how to activate space with installation art

·      Mix gloss and matte surface treatments
